Fragrant and lively with and expressive nose of regional talc and white florals supported by a core of fresh lemon pith fruit.
Cool-climate Eden Valley is no lush farmland with gently undulating hills: its rugged, windswept terrain and steeply sloping gradients are peppered with rocky outcrops and gnarled gum trees. Eden Valley’s ancient soils and its varied topography nourish a range of distinctive, aromatic and elegant wines. Traditional grape growing in the region focuses on sustainability and authenticity.
Vintage Conditions
Average winter rains allowed for a healthy growing season and the establishment of good canopy protecting the fruit. The lead up to vintage and the ripening period was cool, cloudy, and mostly dry allowing for the fruit to develop vibrant and intense flavours with lovely natural acidity. An exceptional Eden Valley vintage being compared to the classic 2002 and 2015 vintages
