The palate is ripe and concentrated, bursting with freshly picked nectarine, nashi pear flavours, and a hint of honeysuckle. With a creamy mouthfeel flowing to a subtle sweet finish, this is a delicately lush and structured Pinot Gris that will leave you squealing for more!
Based in Marlborough, Spring grew up in Christchurch and studied photography and sociology at university before taking a shot at winemaking. To get there she worked her way up through hospitality, on to Lincoln University to study winemaking, into the cellar, then the wine lab before becoming a fully-fledged winemaker. Spring’s bubbly personality and creative background is reflected in Squealing Pig wines.
