Sitting almost half-way between Adelaide and Melbourne within the beautiful Limestone Coast, Coonawarra is one of Australia’s most distinct and important wine regions. The area enjoys a maritime climate similar to that of Bordeaux, but it’s the mineral rich terra rossa for which it is most renowned. This narrow strip of red soil is responsible for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, as well as elegant and aromatic Chardonnay and Riesling.
