Though more famed for its rugged mountain range, Grampians has a viticultural history dating back to the 1850s gold rush. Cool and dry, the Grampians wine region is renowned for its dense, purple and peppery Shiraz as well as its Sparkling wines. Seppelt is a pioneer of the region with its home in the historic heart, Great Western, where a labyrinth of underground cellars more than 3km long can still be explored today.
