Our Heritage Release range celebrates the Wolf Blass legacy, premium wines crafted with over four decades of tradition in mind. These wines are a tribute to the Wolf Blass vision, passion and commitment to excellence.
Shiraz, selected for its soft, rich, mouth-filling fruit, length of flavour and textural tannins, was fermented on skins until the optimum release of colour and flavour was achieved, without excessive tannin extraction. Selected batches were matured with French oak to build complexity and mid-palate texture.

McLaren Vale lies nestled between the Mt Lofty Ranges and the rolling white sand beaches of Gulf St Vincent. With its warm Mediterranean climate, relaxed coastal ambience and superb local produce, McLaren Vale is a melting pot of food, wine and the arts: the ultimate epicurean destination. The region is renowned for its soft and velvety Shiraz, with pronounced berry, spice and chocolate flavours.
Higher than average rainfall through winter and spring resulted in good soil moisture profiles to start the season. Predominantly mild summer conditions and a warm, dry autumn allowed for slow, moderate ripening. This led to high quality wines with bright, vibrant fruit, great flavour development and varietal definition.
The Wolf Blass team of winemakers share a similar working ethos – to boldly chase the pursuit of excellence, to uphold and represent Wolf Blass' proud history, and to create wine of exceptional quality.
