Wolf Blass Wines, established in 1966, has grown from a humble tin shed to become one of the world’s most successful and awarded wineries. Today, Wolf Blass wines are exported to more than 50 countries and are recognised internationally as icons of modern winemaking. The essence of Wolf Blass wines is exemplified through the passion of its custodians, past and present as they continue to create wines of quality, character and consistency. The Private Release range was born of our founder Wolfgang Blass’s philosophy to create highly drinkable wines that are soft, rich and elegantly structured, making them the perfect accompaniment to any meal.

Rich blueberry and bousenberry fruit aromas with subtle hints of spiced oak.
Medium to full-bodied with dark fruit notes and highlights of plum and blueberry. The palate is rich, soft and approachable, with the subtle use of oak giving structure and length without dominating the bright fruits.
Just one hour’s drive from South Australia’s capital, Adelaide, lies its gourmet capital (and wine Mecca), Barossa. One of the country’s most beautiful and historic wine regions, Barossa is a magnet for lovers of fine food and wine. Its classic Mediterranean climate, and free-draining red brown soils, makes the region ideal for growing grapes. Barossa produces excellent Shiraz, Cabernet, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Riesling and Semillon.
The Wolf Blass team of winemakers share a similar working ethos – to boldly chase the pursuit of excellence, to uphold and represent Wolf Blass' proud history, and to create wine of exceptional quality.
